This matters: your Seller Portal credentials are the master keys to your store — price changes, editing your payout bank account, withdrawals, password changes, and access to all your sales and customer data all live behind them. Handing that login to a third-party ERP is like passing over the entire keyring: if it leaks or is misused it's hard to trace, it goes against the platform's account-security guidelines, and your account can even be flagged for abnormal login and restricted. An API Key, by contrast, has a clearly defined scope and can be revoked in one click anytime — it never affects your own login and keeps risk to a minimum. If a tool asks you to log in with your Seller Portal account directly, be extra cautious.
