Pinduoduo & Taobao Sourcing Arrives: Buy from Three Platforms, with Order and Tracking Numbers Auto-Filled

Sourcing expands from 1688 to Pinduoduo and Taobao: paste a link and the platform is auto-detected, the extension captures the purchase order number as you buy, and tracking numbers plus PDD actual-paid amounts flow back automatically. One product can carry multiple sources, each tracked independently — and 1688 multi-source orders can be merged to save on shipping. Buy wherever it's cheapest; the bookkeeping follows you.

The same item: ¥38 on 1688, ¥31 on Pinduoduo, ¥29 with free shipping from an old Taobao shop. Until now your ERP only spoke 1688 — buy anywhere else and the bookkeeping was on you. 辉光ERP's Purchasing Centre now brings Pinduoduo and Taobao fully on board: paste the link, place the order as usual, and the order number, logistics and actual payment record themselves.

What this feature does for you

  • Paste a link, platform detected: drop a product link into the sourcing card and the system recognises 1688, Pinduoduo or Taobao — even from share-text full of emoji or a tb.cn short link, it extracts the real URL. The "go purchase" button switches to the right platform accordingly.
  • Order numbers captured as you buy: click through to Pinduoduo or Taobao and the browser extension watches that tab — once you pay, the new purchase order number is sent back to the ERP and bound to the right order. No more copying digits out of "My Orders".
  • Tracking numbers flow back on their own: the extension then checks your purchase orders regularly; the moment the seller ships, the domestic tracking number appears in your Purchasing Centre — ready for scan-in receiving.
  • PDD actual-paid lands in your costs: the extension collects the true amount you paid on Pinduoduo (after discounts) plus postage, and writes it into purchase cost — the "purchase cost" column in Order Management shows real money, not an estimate.
  • Manual entry works too: type an order number straight into the "purchase order no." column — the platform is auto-detected and the tracking number back-filled. One order can even hold multiple purchase numbers via "+ add another", with 1688, PDD and Taobao orders side by side.

Multi-source: bundles and split buying

A single product can carry several sources: the components of a bundle, or several sellers on the same platform, each attached and tracked independently — its own order number, its own parcel, its own arrival status. However complex the assembly, the books stay clean.

1688 multi-source also supports merged ordering: when you purchase several orders together, the system groups identical sources into one order automatically — 4 orders each drawing on the same 3 sources would have meant 12 separate 1688 orders; merged, it's 3, saving 9 shipping fees. Each merged order's amount and payment link are listed so nothing goes unpaid.

A smoother Purchasing Centre all round

  • One-click sync: a single click completes 1688 statuses and waybills on the server, then hands over to the extension for Pinduoduo/Taobao — clearing historical backlog too.
  • A four-stage flow: to-purchase → purchased → shipped → dispatched, so every order's position is obvious; buyer-cancelled orders get a red flag so you never purchase for a dead order.
  • Search that reaches everything: title, SKU, TSIN, order number, purchase order number or domestic tracking number — whatever you remember, search it.

Real seller scenarios

  • Price-shopping your sources: your bestselling plush toy got pricier on 1688; the same item is ¥7 cheaper on Pinduoduo. Paste, purchase, pay — the order number binds itself, the actual payment feeds your cost, and net profit is computed on real figures.
  • Assembling a bundle: a newborn gift set built from three shops — two 1688 lines plus one PDD line. Each source tracked on its own; who has shipped and who hasn't sits on one screen, and you dispatch when everything's in.
  • Clearing a backlog: inherited a pile of old purchase orders with numbers but no logistics? One-click sync refreshes waybill status across all three platforms at once.
